The very first RECOMB webinar takes place on January 29, 15 CET and will introduce gene therapy for recombination-deficient severe combined immunodeficiency (RAG-SCID) and discuss how it will work for RAG1-SCID. It will also provide the latest status report and prospects of the project. RECOMB is a European multi-stakeholder research consortium aiming to create a novel treatment for SCID by conducting clinical trials using gene therapy for RAG-SCID. Ready to discuss these interesting topics are Prof Arjan Lankester, Prof Karin Pike-Overzet and Prof Frank Staal from Leiden University Medical Center, Netherlands. The webinar will be moderated by Mr Johan Prevot from the International Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiency (IPOPI).
